Kiwi Bears International Schools is founded on the New Zealand based Te Whariki curriculum of early childhood education, the world-renowned Reggio Emilia approach to learning and the Victorian School Curriculum, Australia. Children who receive quality education based on an enlightened curriculum always have the opportunity of achieving a well-balanced overall growth and development with a level of emotional intelligence that will stand them in good stead in adulthood. High quality early childhood education holds the key to a child's all round development. Learning as a process starts from the moment of a child's birth. The child learns to use its senses and seek material comforts and attention from people around her/him within hours of being born. From that moment onwards the process of learning begins for every child. It commences with the primary bonding with the parents and then the extended family and this process is complemented and supported by us in all possible ways when the child comes to our school.
We endeavour to provide surroundings that foster learning in children and encourage positive individual thinking. We focus on providing healthy and safe surroundings with the latest equipment designed to stimulate a child's mind and body. Our teachers support this learning process. They are not merely qualified in academic terms, but have been trained to obtain the best from every child in terms of balanced individual development.
Our Motto is “children matter and always will.” Our philosophy and vision embrace the idea that children are meant to be seen, heard, enjoyed and nurtured in the most positive environments possible. We also believe that the child, the parent and the teacher are a tightly woven quartet which working in harmony produces the best possible results. |
