Many children around the globe are struggling in their day-to-day existence amidst poverty, hunger, war, deprivation, forced labour and numerous social evils. Child abuse exists even amongst first world nations. Global institutions such as UNICEF are working ceaselessly for a better tomorrow for our children but the task is far and wide requiring awareness on our part as a global citizen. Awareness will lead to action in many cases.
